Let x & x+1 be the 2 consecutive integers.
x+3(x+1)=147
x+3x+3=147
4x=147-3
4x=144
x=144/4
x=36 ans. for the smaller integer.
36+1=37 ans. for the larger integer.
Proof:
36+3*37=147
36+111=147
147=147
