You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Remember a couple rules
When you multiply, you add the exponent
When you divide, subtract the dividing exponent
Addition of logs is the same as multiply, subtraction is divide
;
a. x^2 * x^4 = x%5E%282%2B4%29 = x%5E6
:
b. z^8/z^12 = z%5E%288-12%29 = z%5E-4
The reciprocal gets rid of the neg so you have 1%2Fz%5E4
:
c. log4y + log4z = log(4y * 4z) = log(16yz)
:
d. log3y - log3z = log%28%283y%29%2F%283z%29%29 = log%28y%2Fz%29
