7+%2B+i+-10+%2B+5i Remove the parenthesis.


%287-10%29+%2B+%28i+%2B+5i%29 Group like terms (ie separate the real and imaginary parts).

So %287+%2B+i%29+%2B+%28-10+%2B+5i%29=-3+%2B+6i
