You can put this solution on YOUR website!
A cylindrical can of cleaner holds 1 L of liquid. What is its height if the diameter of the base is 10 cm?
The volume of a cylinder is area of the base x height. The radius of the base is 10/2 = 5cm. So, if h is the height we have:
pi*(5^2)*h = 1000 (remember 1L = 1000 cubic cm)
25*pi*h = 1000
h = 1000/(25*pi)
Use 3.14 for the value of pi and complete the calculation above.
