step 1 - multiply both sides by 3 to get
(ii) 2x+%2B+2+=+3x+-+15
step 2 - subtract 2x to get
(iii) 2+=+1x++-+15
step 3 - add 15 to get
(iv) x+=+17
So our numbers are 17 and 19
