well H2 is hydrogen so the only solution from the given answers was A
but this is chemistry not even close to algebra

I disagree with a solution provided by another tutor. As I recall, the reactants are on the left side. Since Zn is Zinc and HCl is Hydrochloric acide, this would make your answer D.
