Question 269251: Hello! I need to find side X (The hypotenuse) of a right triangle only knowing that the 2 angles are 90, 60, and 30. I know that the small side of the triangle is 11. I've only been able to find answers online, but nothing that actually tells me how to do it. Could I get a walk through please?

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
You have what is called a 30-60-90 triangle
The lengths of the sides are in these ratios:
side opposite the 30: 1
side opposite the 60: sqrt%283%29
the hypotenuse: 2
If you know 1 side, then you know the other 2
to solve for hypotenuse:
11%2Fx+=+1%2F2
x+=+22
Suppose you knew the length of the side opposite the 60
Suppose that side was 11
The hypotenuse would be
11%2Fx+=+sqrt%283%29%2F2
22+=+sqrt%283%29%2Ax
x+=+22%2Fsqrt%283%29
