There are two ways to solve this based on your knowledge level:
(1) a^2 + b^2 = c^2
7^2 + b^2 = 14^2
49 + b^2 = 196
b^2 = 147
b = 12.12
----
(2) one side is 1/2 the hypotenuse. the other side is that side x sqrt(3). IN our case we get 7*sqrt(3)

The other side, by Pythagorus theorem, is sqrt%2814%5E2+-+7%5E2%29 = 12.12 units
