You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Try this: Let x be the smallest odd integer, then x+2 will be the next consecutive odd integer and x+4 will be the largest odd integer.
x + (x+2) + (x+4) = -9 Simplify and solve for x.
3x + 6 = -9 Subtract 6 from both sides of the equation.
3x = -15 Divide both sides by 3.
x = -5
x+2 = -3
x+4 = -1
The largest integer is -1
