mathematically:
6%2F%28-1%2F2%29
-6%2F%281%2F2%29 --> you cannot divide fractions. We can however swap the second number (the half) and then multiply, as follows:

-6%2A%282%2F1%29
or, simply -6%2A2
--> -12
