Lets look at the "human" way of doing this:

--> 12 possible outcomes and you want the probability of H4, which is 1 of these...so P(H4) = 1/12

Mathematically,
P(H and 4) = P(H) AND P(4) --> AND meaning multiplication
P(H and 4) = 1/2 x 1/6
P(H and 4) = 1/12
