(i) 16%28x-a%29+=+4%282a-x%29
step 1 - distribute to get
(ii) 16x+-+16a+=+8a+-+4x
step 2 - add 4x and add 16a to get
(iii) 20x+=+24a
solving for x, we get
(iv) x+=+%286%2F5%29a
