You can
put this solution on YOUR website!
18 = 2 x 2 x 3
72 = 2 x 2 x 2 x 3 x 3
The biggest group of 2's is 2 x 2 x 2
The biggest group of 3's is 3 x 3
so the LCM is 2 x 2 x 2 x 3 x 3 = 72
