Question 26429: My problem is
2(x-3)-3(x+5)=3(x-2)-7
I need to solve for x and I can not get the answer. I have gotten so many different answers for x. I get a different answer everytime. How do I do this problem? Answer by Earlsdon(6294) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! This problem is largely an application of the distributive property. Apply the disributive property. Combine like-terms. Add x to both sides of the equation. Add 13 to both sides. Divide both sides by 4.
Answer is: x = -2
