You can put this solution on YOUR website!
49+29x=25+37x
8x=24
x=3 mo the prices equal
----------------------
49+29(6)=$223
----------------------
25+37(6)=$247

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
we have two equations
(i) 49+%2B+29m
(ii) 25+%2B+37m
-----
a: in how many months will both lawn-care servoces cost the same? what will that cost be?
set them equal to get
49+%2B+29m+=+25+%2B+37m
subtract 29m to get
49+=+25+%2B+8m
subtract 25 to get
24+=+8m
divide to get
m+=+3
after 3 months they will cost the same @ $136
---
b: if the family will use the service for only 6 months, which is the better option? explain.
The better option if use for 6 months is Green Lawn. You pay $223 versus Grass team @ $247
