step 1 - multiply by the common denominator of x(x-1) to get
8%28x-1%29+-+3%28x-1%29+=+6x
step 2 - distribute to get
8x-8+-3x%2B3+=+6x
step 3 - combine like terms to get
5x+-+5+=+6x
step 4 - subtract 5x to get
-5+=+x
