You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The kinetic Energy (K) of a moving object varies jointly with its mass (m) and the square of its velocity (v).
If an object weighing 90 kilograms and moving with a velocity of 20 meters per second has a kinetic energy of 4500 Joules, find its kinetic energy when the velocity is 32 meters per second.
:
The mass is the same in both cases so can't we just:
20%5E2%2F32%5E2 = 4500%2Fx
400x = 4608000
x = 4608000%2F400
x = 11,520 joules
