Question 26311: The problem is 23% of what number is 57?
I remember something about is over of = % over 100. Am I on the right track?

You can put this solution on YOUR website! yeah your on the right track. move the percentage over two decimals so it looks like this. (this is the same thing as dividing it by 100)
23% = .23
then times 57 by .23
57 x .23 = 13.11
so 13.11 is your answer.
simple as that
(I find that moving the decimal over two places instead of dividing it by 100 makes things ALOT easier!!!)
