SOLUTION: Hi! I see a problem worked liked this:
8^2/3 = 8^1/3 * 8^1/3 = (8^1/3)^2 = 2^2 = 4
What is the reasoning behind each step?
Thanks!

You can put this solution on YOUR website! reminder website rules
one problem per submission
8^2/3 = 8^1/3 * 8^1/3 = (8^1/3)^2 = 2^2 = 4
the 2 of 8^2/3 means 8 squared the 1/3 means cube root
so the cubed root of 8 is 2
but it is squared so it is 2^2
