Question 26301: I need help with understanding inequality with two variable.
Example how to solve
-2x+y less then or greater then 4
I have tried y=4/2x
The answer on the book states y=2x+4 Why?
Second step is to graph the inequality. How do i find the plots in order to see where the shaded point should be? Do you know of any link that could help with these problems?

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Try this sight;
www.hotmath.com, when you enter go into the Algebra tap, and at the bottom of that page is hotmath algebra, click on that.
It looks like you divided 4 by 2 which you should do is add 2x to both sides.
=)
