last week you were averaging 10/24 = .41 * 100% = 41% of the number of patients you are averaging this week.
this week you are averaging 24/10 = 2.4 * 100% = 240% of the number of patients you were averaging last week.
the percent increase in patients this week over last week is equal to (24-10)/10 = 14/10 = 1.4 * 100% = 140%
