You can put this solution on YOUR website! here is the problem:
step 1 - put (_) around first and then second pair of terms as follows:
step 2 - find the GCF of the first and second (_)
step 3- find the GCF of the entire expression to get
You can put this solution on YOUR website! 1. Remove the GCF (greatest common factor)
2. Group terms with common factors
3. Remove the GCF of each group (making sure that there will be a common factor in each group)
4. Use distributive property to re-write
8x^3 - 12x^2 + 6x - 9
1. There is no GCF
2. (8x^3 - 12 x^2) + (6x - 9)
3. 4x^2 (2x - 3) + 3 (2x - 3) *** (2x - 3) is the common factor of each group.
4. (4x^2 + 3) (2x - 3)
