Question 262627: Jacqui, Karen, and Lynn all collect stamps. Jacqui has 12 more stamps than Karen, and Karen has three times as many as Lyn. Together they have 124 stamps. How many does each person have?
This is as far as I got on solving...
Jacqui= K + 12
Karen= 3*(Lynn)
Lynn=?
All together= 124 stamps
124= 12 + 3x
124/3= 41.3
41.3=x
?? AHH help!
