You can put this solution on YOUR website! This can be solved different ways;
we will solve it be substitution;
We will take eq.2 x=6-2y
and substitute that for x in eq.1;
2(6-2y)-2y=18
12-4y-2y=18
12-6y=18
-6y=18-12
-6y=6
y=-1
Now lets plug that into eq.2 for y;
x=6-2(-1)
x=6+2
x=8
