You can put this solution on YOUR website! You are going to have a fun time in Geometry if you don't know how to do proofs.
BTW one of the reasons for teaching geometry is to develop your ability to think logically. You have to learn how to think to do proofs.
Start with what you know and move on to what you didn't know step by step.
If you can't follow what I am saying there is not much point in explaining the problem.
I assume you are in the second semester of geometry now. It is a bit late to say you don't get proofs.
You have to bring together everything you should have learned about parallel lines and proportions.
I suspect there was a drawing that you neglected to mention.
