Question 261861: From what I can understand of probability distribution I can only depict one not being a probability distribution which I have indicated below. I'm not sure what this question is asking in entirity as to if we only have to label the distribution probabilities or if we have to solve them as well. Any help you could provide is appreciated.
Decide whether the distribution is a probability distribution. If it is not a probability distribution, identify the property that is not satisfied.
x P(x) continuous probability distribution
1 0.200
2 0.238
3 0.245
4 0.307
You can put this solution on YOUR website! Decide whether the distribution is a probability distribution. If it is not a probability distribution, identify the property that is not satisfied.
x P(x) continuous probability distribution
1 0.200
2 0.238
3 0.245
4 0.307
-----------------------------
The numbers add up to 0.99.
To be a PD they have to add up to 1.00
----
Note: It is not a continuous distribution;
it is a discrete distribution.
