Question 2616: find the slope of the line going thru (5,-5);(6,2)
Answer by kiru_khandelwal(79) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! If a line goes thru points (x1,y1) and (x2,y2) then slope of the line will be
m = (y2-y1)/(x2-x1)
Therefore in this case slope of the line passing through (5,-5) and (6,2) will ne
m = (2-(-5))/(6-5)
=> 7/1 = 7
so slope of line is 7
