LET X, X+2 & X+4 BE THE 3 CONSECUTIVE EVEN INTEGERS.
5X=3(X+2)+14
5X=3X+6+14
5X-3X=20
2X=20
X=20/2
X=10 THE FIRST INTEGER.
10+4=14 IS THE THIRD INTEGER.
PROOF:
5*10=3(10+2)+14
50=3*12+14
50=36+14
50=50
