You can put this solution on YOUR website!
By graphing, we get the following coordinates that create the feasible region:
(0,4), (6,0), (29/12,4), and (4.555, 2.166)
we now apply our profit function to each coordinate and get
--
(0,4) ; Z=3X+Y -> 3*0 + 4 = 4
--
(6,0) ; Z=3X+Y -> 3*6 + 0 = 18
--
(29/12, 4) ; Z=3X+Y -> 3*(29/12) + 4 = 11.25
--
(4.555, 2.166) ; Z=3X+Y -> 3*4.555 + 2.166 -> 15.831
--
It appears we have a max at (6,0)
