Question 26030: Here is my last one. This seems to evade me totally.
-x+y=2
x+y=4
Can you solve by graphing?
Thank you so much. Answer by elima(1433) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! There are diferent ways to solve this, and yes one is by graphing;
You make a table choosing values for x and then solving the equation for y;
So lets pick values for x;
when x=1
-x+y=2
-(1)+y=2
y=2+1
Y=3
So one point would be(1,3);
And if you plugeg that into the equation;
x+y=4
(1)+(3)=4
Now see if you can get two more points and graph the equation
=)
