Help with polynomials problem:
(4m - 2) + (2m + 4) - (9m - 1)
Eliminate the parentheses:
= 4m - 2 + 2m + 4 - 9m + 1 (note the sign changes for the 3rd binomial)
Add all the m's and the numbers
= 4m+2m-9m -2+4+1
= -3m + 3
