1. k(t)=7t^2+14t
2. g(x)=x^2+10x+16
3. j(x)=x^2+10

k(t)=7t(t+2) all that needed to be done was to factor out what both terms had in common which was the 7t.
g(x)=(x+8)(x+2) they way to do this problem is to think of two numbers that when multiplied give me 16 and added give 10, which are the last and middle terms of the original polynomial.
j(x)=x^2+10, this exercise cannot be factored.

Simplifying..
k(t) = 7*t*t + 14*t
k(t) = 7*t*t + 7*2*t -->( Because 7 * 2 = 14)
Picking the common no.s
k(t) = 7*t (t + 2*t)
Final Answer:
k(t) = 7t(t+2t)
Similarly..
2. g(x)=x^2+10x+16
g(x) = x^2 + (2x + 8x) + 2*8 -->(splitting 10x and 16)
g(x) = x(x+2)+8(x+2) --> (picking out the common factors)
Final Answer:
g(x) = (x+2)(x+8) --> (picking out the common factors)
3. j(x)=x^2+10 -->This function cannot be factored
