You can put this solution on YOUR website!
k%5E2+%2B+k%5E4+-12%2Fk%5E2+%2B+k%5E10+%2B24+%2A+k%5E2+%2B+k+-12%2Fk%5E2+-9
Is this the expression you meant or do we need to change numerators and denominators?

Here is the original question
(i)
I think the k^10 should be 10k. Otherwise it would be really tough to get a nice answer. So, suppose this were the question:
(ii)
assuming everything is written correctly, we factor everything first as
(iii) %28k%5E2%2B4%29%28k%5E2-3%29%2F%28%28k%2B6%29%28k%2B4%29%29 * %28k%2B4%29%28k-3%29%2F%28k%2B3%29%28k-3%29%29
canceling (k-3) and (k+4) we get
(iv) %28k%5E2%2B4%29%28k%5E2-3%29%2F%28k%2B6%29 * 1%2F%28k%2B3%29
and finally
(v) %28k%5E2%2B4%29%28k%5E2-3%29%2F%28%28k%2B6%29%28k%2B3%29%29
