You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Three friends-whose walking rates are 1 ft./sec., 3 ft./sec., and 6 ft./sec.- start out together walking in the same direction around a circular track that is 300 feet in circumference.
After how many minutes are the three of them together again?
:
find a multiple of the track dist using the fast guy: 6 ft/sec
6 * 300 = 1800 ft
:
Fast guy: 300 sec or 5 min to complete(6 laps)
:
2nd fast guy: 300 sec * 3 = 900 ft in 5 min (3laps)
:
slow guy 300 sec * 1 = 300 ft in 5 min, (1lap)
:
Should all be starting a new lap in 5 min
