Determine the values of x for which the following expression will be
undefined (i.e., the result is division by zero)."
____5_____
3x^2-75
:
What value of x make the denominator 0:
3x^2 - 75 = 0
3x^2 = 75; subtracted 75 from both sides
x^2 = 25; divided both sides by 3
Find the square root of both side
x = +/-sqrt%2825%29
x = +5
x = -5
These values will make the denominator = 0, (undefined)
