"Per Cent" is derived from French meaning "Per Hundred"
For e.g. Let's say you wanted to find 10% of $200 then you would do it as follows
%2810%2F100%29%2A200+=+20
So, we can now say that 10% of $200 is $20.
Most of the tutors here teach somewhere else. You will have to contact the individual tutor to find out more details.
