You can put this solution on YOUR website!
FIrst
f(g(x)) = 6(x+6)/8 - 8 = 6x + 36/8 - 8 = 6x 15/4
g(f(x)) = (6x-8+6)/8 = (6x-2)/8 = (3x-1)/4
These are not inverses.
