(2n+6)/2=4n-12 cross multiply
2n+6=2(4n-12)
2n+6=8n-24
2n-8n=-24-6
-6n=-30
n=-30/-6
n=5 ans.
Proof:
1/2(2*5+6)=5*5-12-5
1/2(10+6)=25-17
1/2*16=8
8=8

n + 3 = 5n -12 -n
n = 5n -n -12 -3
n = 4n -15
