You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The problem is
(i) %28%28b-1%29%2F%28b%2B6%29%29 / %28%28b-3%29%2F%28b%5E2%2B10b%2B24%29%29
factor b^2 + 10b + 24 = (b+6)(b+4), so we get
(ii) %28%28b-1%29%2F%28b%2B6%29%29 / %28%28b-3%29%2F%28%28b%2B6%29%28b%2B4%29%29%29
we have a couple of restrictions where
b+6=0
b-3=0
b+4=0.
So b cannot = -6, 3, -4.
we can re express (ii) as
(iii) %28%28b-1%29%2F%28b%2B6%29%29 * %28%28b%2B6%29%28b%2B4%29%2F%28b-3%29%29
and canceling, we get
(iv) %28b-1%29 * %28b%2B4%29%2F%28b-3%29
which is
(v) %28b%5E2%2B3b-4%29%2F%28b-3%29
