start with 4y^3
4y^3(4y^2-6y-10)
We could have gone higher than 4
let's go 2
4y^3*2(2y^2-3y-5)
8y^3(2y^2-3y-5)
Now we get to the fun part
we want factors of 2*-5 that add to -3
and we have them
2y^2 +2y -5y-5
group them
2y(y+1) -5(y+1)
(2y-5)(y+1)
8y^3*(y+1)*(2y-5)
