You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Let the width be x.
Given, length of a rectangular is 3 centimeters more than three times the width
Therefore the length = 3x+3
Perimeter is 2(x+3x+3) = 70
4x+3 = 35
4x = 35-3
4x = 32
x = 32/4
x = 8
So the length of the rectangle = 3x+3 = 3*8+3 = 27 cms
