We have to choose an integer from this set.
Total number of ways = 12
A) The even numbers are 2,4,6,8,10,12
There are 6 even numbers.
So we can select one in 6 ways.
Probability of choosing an even integer = 6/12 = 1/2
B)a multiple of three is chosen.
The multiples of 3 are 3,6,9,12
There are 4 numbers.
So we can select one in 4 ways.
Probability of choosing a multiple of three = 4/12 = 1/3
C) a prime number is chosen,
The prime numbers are 2,3,5,7,11
There are 5 numbers.
So we can select one in 5 ways.
Probability of choosing a prime = 5/12
D) a two digit number is chosen.
The two digit numbers are 10,11,12
