Our equation was
(i) 7%2F%28-3sqrt%282%29%2B1%29
step 1 - find the conjugate as
-3sqrt(2) - 1 and then multiply by top and bottom to get
(ii) 7%2A%28-3sqrt%282%29-1%29 / %28-3sqrt%282%29+%2B+1%29%2A%28-3sqrt%282%29+-+1%29
which is simplified to
(iii) 7%2A%28-3sqrt%282%29-1%29 / 17
