You can put this solution on YOUR website!
total red marbles are 4 * 8 = 32
total blue marbles are 4 * 11 = 44

a.

ratio of red marbles to blue marblesis 32/44 which is the same as 8/11.

note:

8/11 and 8:11 mean the same thing.
/ is the division sign.
: is the ratio sign.

a fraction is the ratio of the numerator to the denominator.

b.

ratio of blue marbles to red marbles is 44/32 which is the same as 11/8.

c.

ratio of red marbles to total marbles is 32/(44+32) = 32/76.

this is the same as 8/19.

d.

ratio of bags to marbles is 4/76 which is the same as 1/19.
