I have tried every way i can think of to anwser this question, but we had a substitute for a teacher today, and she was not very good at explaining things.

Use the formula Area = Pi*radius^2 or A=Pi%2Ar%5E2.
Hint Pi is approximately 3.141 and the answer will be in metres squared.

I can't help but wonder what you might have tried. Whatever it was, there's only one way to do these.

Area = pi*r*r
Area = pi*5.1*5.1 = 26.01pi
Using pi on a calculator,
Area =~ 81.7128 square meters
