You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Let a=apples
let b=bannanas
2 pounds of a + 3 pounds of b = 5.80 So 2a+3b=5.80
1 pound of a + 2 pounds of b = 3.24 So a+2b=3.24
Solve using elimination method.

I don't know what world these people live in. But you can't go in a store and buy 2 pounds of apples . It never comes out that nice and neat. You want 2 pounds and you will get 2.3 pounds.
You can't just slice off the extra as you can with cheese or gravy.
and where do they live that they would pay 3.24 for a pound of apples and 3 pounds of bananas. Are they made of gold?
