v = 2c

In 5 years the sum of their ages will be 28.
(v+5) + (c + 5) = 28
v + c + 10 = 28
v + c = 28 - 10
v + c = 18

Find their ages.
Replace v with 2c, find c
2c + c = 18
3c = 18
c = 18%2F3
c = 6 hrs is Cory's age
then, obviously
2(6) = 12 is Victoria's age
