TO create standard form, we need to things: (1) no fractions, (2) x and y on the same side. Here is our equation:
y=4%2F3x%2B2%2F3
step 1 - multiply by 3. We get
3y=4x%2B2
step 2 - -4x from both sides to get
-4X+%2B+3Y+=+2
this is standard form.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
y=%284%2F3%29x%2B2%2F3 Start with the given equation.

3y=4x%2B2 Multiply every term by the LCD 3 to clear out the fractions.

3y-4x=2 Subtract 4x from both sides.

-4x%2B3y=2 Rearrange the terms.

4x-3y=-2 Multiply every term by -1 to make the 'x' coefficient positive.

So the slope-intercept equation y=%284%2F3%29x%2B2%2F3 converts to the standard form equation 4x-3y=-2

what is y=4/3x+2/3 in standard form?
-------------------------
Multiply thru 3 to get:
3y = 4x + 2
---
Standard form:
4x - 3y = -2
