use the distance formula to decide wheather pq=qr
p(4,-4)
q(1,-3)
r(-1,-3

pq+=+sqrt%289+%2B+1%29
pq+=+sqrt%2810%29
-------------------
qr+=+sqrt%28diffy%5E2+%2B+diffx%5E2%29
qr+=+sqrt%284+%2B+0%29
qr = 2

We want to ind distance. We have an equation:
(i) d+=+sqrt%28%28X1-x1%29%5E2%2B%28Y1-Y2%29%5E2%29
In words: The difference of the x's squared plus the difference of the y's squared all square rooted.

We have three coordinates: p(4,-4), q(1,-3), r(-1,-3)
Find distance of pq. Using (i) above, we have:
d+=+sqrt%28%284-1%29%5E2%2B%28-4-%28-3%29%29%5E2%29
d+=+sqrt%28%283%29%5E2%2B%28-1%29%5E2%29
d+=+sqrt%289%2B1%29
d+=+sqrt%2810%29
Now, we do the same for qr:
d+=+sqrt%28%281-%28-1%29%29%5E2%2B%28-3-%28-3%29%29%5E2%29
d+=+sqrt%28%282%29%5E2%2B%280%29%5E2%29
d+=+sqrt%284%29
d+=+2
So, pq not = qr.

Then you need to find the distance between q and r
q(1,-3)
r(-1,-3)
Then you have to decide if they are the same distance
