Given, a^2 - 2ab + b^2 = 36 ...(1)
and a^2 - 3ab + b^2 = 22 ...(2)
(1)-(2)=>
(a^2 - 2ab + b^2)-(a^2 - 3ab + b^2) = 36-22
a^2 - 2ab + b^2-a^2 + 3ab - b^2 = 14
ab = 14
